Renovation Terms and Conditions
"Stories That Deserve a Renovation" Dynamic – CAO CAO
1. ORGANIZER
This dynamic is organized by CAO CAO (hereinafter, “CAO CAO” or “the Organizer”).
2. NATURE OF THE DYNAMIC (NOT A CONTEST / NOT A RAFFLE)
This dynamic does not constitute a contest, raffle, lottery, promotion, game of chance, competition, or mechanism subject to probability.
Participation is voluntary and free of charge, and consists solely of submitting a story for possible internal evaluation by CAO CAO.
Submitting a story does not generate rights, does not create an obligation of selection, nor does it imply a guarantee of obtaining a renovation, benefit, discount, or compensation.
3. VALIDITY PERIOD
Story submissions will be open from the date of publication of this dynamic until March 31, 2026, at 23:59 hrs (Mexico time).
After this date, no stories will be received or considered, without exception.
4. SOLE CHANNEL OF PARTICIPATION
To participate, the person must send their story only to the official WhatsApp number:

Any story sent through other means (social media, emails, forms, comments, direct messages, etc.) will not be considered.
5. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Individuals of legal age may submit stories. If a story is submitted regarding a third party (another person), the submitter declares that they have authorization from that third party to share such information with CAO CAO.
CAO CAO may request, when deemed necessary, basic documentation or confirmations (e.g., identity, legal age, proof of use/possession of the property or owner's authorization) as a condition to proceed with any evaluation or execution.
6. SELECTION (TOTAL DISCRETION / POSSIBILITY OF NOT CHOOSING ANYONE)
CAO CAO may, at its sole and absolute discretion, review stories and decide if any are suitable for a renovation.
CAO CAO:
- May choose one, several, or no stories
- May choose at any time deemed convenient
- May pause or defer decisions without obligation to provide explanations
- Is not obligated to communicate reasons, scores, criteria, lists, or results
- Is not obligated to respond to messages or follow up on unselected stories
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS IF A STORY IS CHOSEN
If CAO CAO decides to proceed with a story, the renovation (hereinafter, the “Intervention”) will be carried out only under these conditions:
7.1 CAO CAO defines EVERYTHING
CAO CAO will have total control over:
- Scope and type of Intervention
- Design, selection of materials, finishes, and brands
- Suppliers, installers, timelines, and logistics
- Dates, schedule, and work methodology
- Changes during execution due to technical reasons, availability, or safety
7.2 No participant decision
The selected person (hereinafter, the “Beneficiary”) understands and accepts that:
- Cannot demand specific designs, specific materials, quantities, changes, expansions, or “extras”
- Cannot condition the Intervention on personal preferences
- The Intervention is carried out as determined by CAO CAO; if the Beneficiary does not agree, they may reject it and CAO CAO may cancel without liability.
7.3 No obligation to execute if not viable
Even if a story is considered or pre-selected, CAO CAO may decide not to execute it if it detects, among others:
- Lack of technical or structural viability
- Safety risks
- Lack of permits/authorizations
- Property conditions that prevent installation
- Logistical or budgetary impossibility
- Any situation that CAO CAO deems risky or inconvenient
8. AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF IMAGE, VOICE, STORY, AND CONTENT (MARKETING + PAID ADS)
By sending their story to WhatsApp 33 3225 7609, the participating person grants CAO CAO (and its agencies, partners, suppliers, and contractors collaborating in the production) a free, broad, and geographically unlimited authorization to:
- Use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, and disseminate the submitted story (in whole or in part), including first name, approximate age, city, and other narrative elements, with or without anonymization, at CAO CAO's discretion.
- Record and photograph the space, the process, and the result (before/during/after), including interior/exterior, property details, visible objects, and people who appear.
- Use the image, voice, and likeness of the participant/beneficiary and of any person who appears during the recording (should the Beneficiary involve third parties, they commit to obtaining their authorization).
- Use the obtained material (photos, videos, audio, testimonials, reviews, interviews, behind-the-scenes) for organic marketing and paid advertising, including but not limited to:

- Social media (Meta/Instagram/Facebook/TikTok/YouTube/LinkedIn/Pinterest or others)
- Websites, e-commerce, landing pages, and blogs
- Paid ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, etc.)
- Email marketing and WhatsApp marketing
- Printed material (catalogs, brochures, banners, displays, showcases, signage)
- PR, press releases, commercial presentations, and institutional material
5. Edit the content (cuts, music, subtitles, color, script, creative changes) at CAO CAO's discretion.
This authorization is granted for an indefinite period or, if applicable, for the maximum period allowed by applicable law, without obligation of financial compensation and without obligation to publish.
9. RESPONSIBILITY, RISKS, AND LIMITATION
The Beneficiary understands and accepts that the Intervention may involve installation and renovation works and, therefore, inherent risks and eventualities exist. Consequently:
9.1 CAO CAO DOES NOT guarantee aesthetic results or personal satisfaction
- CAO CAO does not guarantee that the final result will match personal expectations.
- If the Beneficiary “did not like it”, CAO CAO is not obligated to redo, change, expand, substitute, or modify what has been installed.
9.2 CAO CAO DOES NOT assume future maintenance
Once the Intervention is delivered:
- The Beneficiary assumes all future maintenance, cleaning, care, repair, and replacement.
- CAO CAO is not responsible for normal wear and tear, deterioration over time, use, impacts, humidity, leaks, structural changes to the property, exposure to sun/rain, chemicals, misuse, or environmental conditions.
- CAO CAO is not obligated to subsequent visits, extended warranties, or future renovations.
9.3 CAO CAO IS NOT responsible for pre-existing property conditions
CAO CAO will not be responsible for:
- Hidden defects, structural failures, humidity, faulty electrical/hydraulic installations, poorly leveled walls, or any pre-existing condition of the property that affects the result or causes damage.
- Damages resulting from lack of property maintenance or from third parties.
9.4 Indirect damages and losses
In no event shall CAO CAO be liable for:
- Loss of profit, loss of income, loss of clientele, temporary closures, lodging costs, relocation, or operational impacts on the Beneficiary (especially if it is a business/office).
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9.5 Access, permits, and authorizations
The Beneficiary will be responsible for:
- Having permits from the owner/administration/condominium if applicable
- Allowing access on agreed dates
- Protecting/removing valuable and fragile objects
- Ensuring that the space is available and in reasonable condition
If, due to lack of permits, restrictions, or refusals, execution cannot proceed, CAO CAO may cancel without liability.
9.6 Cancellation due to conduct or conditions
CAO CAO may cancel or stop the Intervention without liability if:
- The Beneficiary impedes or hinders execution
- Demands changes outside the scope defined by CAO CAO
- Does not respect dates or minimum operational agreements
- Safety risks or unsuitable conditions are detected
10. CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONTACT INFORMATION
CAO CAO may store and use the provided contact information solely for the purpose of managing the dynamic and, if applicable, contacting potential beneficiaries.
CAO CAO is not obligated to maintain continuous communication, nor to respond to all messages received.
11. MODIFICATIONS, SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION
CAO CAO reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this dynamic at any time, without prior notice, without this generating any right to claim or compensation.
12. FULL ACCEPTANCE
Sending a story to WhatsApp 33 3225 7609 implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
